Splash Bath launches new business center

Alicia Skalitzky is the first tenant ready to open the first week in July at the new Shops at Meridian Ranch. Splash Bath, the pet-related grooming center and retail store, has been in business in Falcon for less than a year, and is now moving from a 100-square-foot space to more than 1,300 square feet. At the end of July, Skalitzky plans to celebrate her first-year anniversary as owner of Splash Bath at their new and expanded digs.Skalitzky is expanding her business as well. Besides a self-service pet wash, full grooming services and a wide array of pet items and all-natural pet products (with the exception of food); she will be offering evening dog training classes by professional trainers.After receiving her certification in pet grooming at the Midwest School of Pet Grooming in Illinois, Skalitzky managed two grooming salons before opening her own business.She focuses on the welfare and comfort of animals during the grooming process, with a salon motto, ìHumanity before vanity.îWith a much larger grooming space, Splash Bath employs another certified groomer, who is also a vet tech: Shelby Pilling. ìYou can be reassured your pet is in great hands at Splash Bath,î Skalitzky said.
