Exchangite of the year

At the Rocky Mountain District Convention in May in Ogden, Utah, Bob Miller received the ìDistrict Exchangite of the Yearî award. This annual award is the highest honor an Exchange Club member can receive, and Miller was chosen from among 374 eligible district members.A 2006 charter member of the Falcon, Colo., club, Miller has shined and received several awards: Falcon Club Exchangite of the Year 2009-10, Outstanding Club President 2009 ñ 2012 and Distinguished Club President Award from the national organization in 2011-12. He served a one-year term for the Exchange Club of Falcon as chairman of the child abuse prevention committee; he was president of the Falcon club for over three years; and is currently serving as past president, Intra Club chairman and membership chairmen. Millerís recruitment total is 30. ìYou just keep asking everybody,î he said. Miller is also a district director, overseeing all clubs in Colorado, sharing ideas and passing on his knowledge as to what works.Miller, a Colorado native, has been an accomplished insurance broker for 45 years. He and his wife, Ursula, will celebrate 50 years of marriage June 29; they have three daughters, 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
