BLR adds builders to Northtree list

The Banning Lewis Ranch Management Company added Todays Homes as a builder in Northtree, the inaugural village at Banning Lewis Ranch. Todays Homes closed on 76 lots in April, according to a news release, joining Classic Homes, John Laing Homes and Capital Pacific Homes.ìTodays Homes is known for their energy, innovative ideas and craftsmanship,î said Hadi Makarechian, chairman and CEO of BLR Management Co.Todays Homes also is building in seven communities throughout Colorado Springs, Fountain and Pueblo.John Cassiani, Vice President of Project Operations for Banning Lewis Ranch said they are on schedule at BLR. ìYou should see plenty of activity on site in the months ahead,î he said.ìWeíre looking forward to becoming part of a new approach to neighborhood design and to becoming part of an innovative master planned community that will influence our City for years to come,î said Alan Teeters, president of Todays Homes.Northtree, in the northwest portion of the property, is about 330 acres, 1,000 homes are expected at build out. Also in the plans for the community: a welcome center, swimming pool, parks and adventure play areas. Adjacent to the area is the K-8 public charter school, which opened in 2006. Construction on model homes is set to begin this spring, and the Northtree grand opening is scheduled for fall.
