The Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center is a PATH International premier accredited facility providing equine assisted activities and therapies to children, adults and military with disabilities and mental health needs. PPTRC strives to enhance the quality of life by providing safe, personalized and effective services, enabling healing to occur through the power of our horses.Horses are our partners in therapy. Due to the Black Forest Fire and having to evacuate, a few of our horses were injured; and, as a result will be retiring. We are currently seeking sound, healthy, well-trained and experienced horses that can carry large adult riders in therapy. Horses must be between the age of 8 and 18 years old and able to pass a veterinary check. Donation or lease considered. If your horse fits our need and you would like to donate the horse, call 719-495-3908, visit http://pptrc.org or email michelle@pptrc.org for more information.
