NEWS BRIEFS: County hosts veterans claims clinics

El Paso County news release Oct. 21

The El Paso County Division of Veterans Services, in collaboration with the Colorado Division of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is hosting a series of Veterans Claims Clinics on Nov. 19, 20, and 21. The clinics will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Recruiting & Readiness Center at 9510 Voyager Parkway in Colorado Springs.

Veterans interested in filing claims, enrolling in VA health care or accessing community care resources are encouraged to attend. VA exams will be available, and representatives will provide information on the National Cemetery. All Veterans attending must schedule an appointment in advance.

“We are proud to offer these clinics in collaboration with our partners to ensure Veterans have access to the benefits they deserve,” said Marshall Bosworth, Director of the El Paso County Division of Veterans Services. “This is an excellent opportunity for Veterans to receive assistance from knowledgeable professionals who genuinely understand their experiences.”
