On Sept. 11, the Black Forest Fire Station No. 2 hosted an informational open house regarding the second phase of safety improvements for Hodgen Road. With maps and slides, presenters indicated the following:Phase 2 will have a narrower gravel shoulder, a smaller ditch section and a narrower overall cross section than that of Phase 1. The work will be done between Bar X Road and Goshawk Road East and at the intersection of Hodgen and Meridian roads.
