Sidney Hubert wrote a winning essay nominating her teacher, Ethan Troy, as The Exchange Club of Falconís teacher of the year. Hubert wrote in her essay that Troy ìmakes math fun and engaging.î She also quoted Albert Einstein: ìIt is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.î Hubert referred to Troy as an ìall-starî teacher.In January, Jim Dunn, community service chairman for the club, recognized Hubert for her essay; and awarded a special plaque to Troy as ìTeacher of the Year 2014.îThe Exchange Club of Falcon meets the first and third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Golden Corral restaurant at Woodmen Road and Powers Boulevard.
