On May 23, Falcon High School seniors, families, friends and school administrators and teachers gathered at the Broadmoor World Arena for the graduation ceremony. The Falcon High School Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band kicked off the festivities with the classic march, Edward Elgar’s, “Pomp and Circumstance.”
Principal Seann O’Connor welcomed the audience and introduced the Falcon High School choir, who sang the national anthem. Superintendent Brian Smith also talked and added humor as he talked about students pranking him by covering his space with sticky notes and rearranging the furniture.
Student speakers included Misha Cosner and Ashlyn Christianson.
After students crossed the stage to received their diplomas, Dominque Hall, a teacher, spoke and then instructed the students to move their caps’ tassels to the left, signifying their completion of undergraduate school.
