After hearing about fellow veteran Robert Dickinson, who recently lost his home and three dogs in a house fire a few weeks ago, Frank Serrano, president of the American Legion Riders Post 2008 in Falcon, Colorado, mobilized his group to help Dickinson. The ALR began collecting funds for the U.S. Army veteran. Knowing more could be done if the net were cast a bit wider, ALR Post 2008 sounded the bugle for other area ALRs to ante up, and they did ó in a big way.
