Fran Palmer, D.C. of Palmer Chiropractic, was the guest speaker at the Aug. 19 Falcon Exchange Club meeting. Dr. Palmer, along with husband Rob Palmer, also a chiropractor, moved to Falcon and established their practice in 2003. Dr. Palmer spoke about the nature of chiropractic medicine. Members of the club learned that chiropractic patients not only include adults, sports injuries, pediatric and expectant mother care; but also equine care. The Falcon Exchange Club is conducting an annual fundraiser: a raffle consisting of a two-horse trailer or $2,000 cash, in conjunction with the Colorado Springs Exchange Club. Members of the club will sell raffle tickets at Big “R” starting Aug. 23 and every other weekend until Oct. 19. Funds generated from the raffle support child abuse prevention agencies and similar activities in Colorado Springs. The club recently welcomed three new members: Ann Searle and Doug and Pam Ingalls. For more information on the Falcon Exchange Club, please contact Joe Bauer, 262-9222 or Jan Pizzi, 495-1288.
