The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Falcon/Peyton will take place in 2015 on June 5, and volunteers are needed now to get things going.From assisting with planning the annual event to taking part on the day of the event, there are a variety of volunteer opportunities available for interested community members.A meeting will be held Jan. 5 at the High Prairie Library at 7035 Old Meridian Road in Falcon at 6:30 p.m. for those interested in volunteering. Please bring family and friends. The date and location are yet to be determined, but contact Tyler Schultz for the details at 719-630-4978.The Relay For Life program is a community-based event where teams and individuals camp out at a school, park or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team has at least one participant on the track at all times, and previous to the event participates in raising funds to support the American Cancer Societyís mission to finish the fight against cancer.
