The Black Forest Trails Association held a “Tackle the Trash” event April 20 to clean up section 16 of its trail system. A BFTA member and the cleanup organizer, Cheryl Pixley, said the fence is close to the road and collects trash blowing in the wind or catches it when motorists toss trash out of cars.
