Stroke & Heart Attack Awareness

The public is invited to a Feb. 8 FREE presentation, where a paramedic from the Black Forest Fire and Rescue Departemnt will provide key identifying symptoms of a person experiencing a possible stroke or heart attack. The presentation will emphasize the immediate actions necessary to prevent a victimís severe physical impairment or death.The Black Forest AARP Chapter 1100 will host the presentation, and anyone interested in learning the life-saving responses are invited ó all ages welcome.†The presentation will take place at the Black Forest Lutheran Church, 12455 Black Forest Road in Black Forest, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 8.Attendees at the meeting are invited to stay after the presentation for the regular AARP Chapter lunch and meeting that begins at noon.
