Safeway Plaza grand opening

Newly opened businesses at the Safeway Plaza welcomed the community to a grand opening celebration Sept. 29. The businesses offer a wide range of services.There are pork wings and deep-fried turkey dinners at Falcon Grill and ice cream and candy at Sweet Tooth.Adding to the mix of businesses is Falcon Family Eye Care – owner Andrew Royer, O.D., and Town & Country Preschool, owned by Tanya Luiten.Unique Hair Salon, with owner Jong Sue Boyd; and Express Cash, managed by Tina Roe, round out the variety of businesses.All of the new business owners and managers agreed: It’s all about bringing services to Falcon.

New businesses at Safeway Plaza rolled out the red carpet for residents during the grand opening celebration Sept. 29. Inflatable jumpers, music, entertainment, food, and a classic car display were part of the festivities.
The name says it all: it’s a store for all ages who have a “sweet tooth.” Sweet Tooth is sprinkled with candy confections, ice cream and popcorn.
Town & Country lead teacher Julie Cox (right) and teacher’s aide Sharon Hammack offer their students a fun place to learn with both teacher-directed and open-ended activities.
Unique Hair Salon Owner Jong Sue Boyd said they try their best to make their customers comfortable. The salon has been open for two months.

Express Cash Manager Tina Roe said the business opened in Falcon to make small loans and emergency loans available to residents. Express Cash opened July 5.
