The Falcon Education Foundation’s sixth annual dinner and silent auction takes place on Fri., April 22 at the Antlers Hilton Hotel in downtown Colorado Springs. The silent auction starts at 5 p.m., and the dinner is planned for 7 p.m.Past dinners and silent auctions have brought in more than 12 partial scholarships for students and 96 mini-grants totaling over $72,000, benefiting D 49 students, creating scholarships for seniors and adding learning experiences for other students.The cost to the public is $50 per dinner, and for those who simply want to attend the silent auction, you can do so without charge. Business tables can be reserved for $500 a table.The district promises a wide array of silent auction items, so make your reservation by April 13. Call Shyrl Springer at 495-9482 with questions.
