On Monday, Sept. 5, American Legion Riders 2008 are hosting a ìStock the Pantryî Poker Run. All proceeds benefit High Plains Helping Hands Food Pantry. Register from 9 to 10 a.m. at Jakís Brewery, 7654 McLaughlin Road in Falcon. First out is 10 a.m. The run is 80 miles around Colorado Springs, with the final stop at Jakís Brewery, which includes a party and prizes. The cost is $20/30 with passenger; $5 discount for each participant who brings two non-perishable food items. Cars are welcome to participate.
