This handsome boy is Apollo. He is a 21/2-year-old male white Lab mix. Apollo is much smaller than a full-bred Lab. He would do great in a home with older children, and he does well with cats and other dogs. Apollo had surgery five weeks ago on a knee cap for patella luxation. His owners have to part with Apollo due to moving issues. He is ready to find his forever home! If you think Apollo would fit into your loving family and would like to meet him, please call SAINT Animal Rescue in Calhan at 719-541-3099.It is always a challenge when adopting a new pet. SAINT Animal Rescue asks the new family to give the animal a reasonable amount of time to adjust to its new family and environment. This is important to your new family member as well as your existing family members. Don’t forget to visit our Web site at saintanimalrescue.org – and thank you for caring! In Scotland, according to dog superstition, a strange dog coming to the house means a new friendship. Meeting a spotted or black and white dog on your way to a business appointment in England is lucky. Three white dogs seen together are considered lucky in some areas. Fishermen traditionally regard dogs as unlucky and will not take one out in a boat nor mention the word “dog” while at sea.
Please meet Apollo
