Abbie is just under 4 years old. She was “dumped” on the eastern plains and lived her existence there for two years. Her present owner has to relinquish Abbie because of his newly diagnosed medical condition. Abbie is not an apartment dog; she needs a large fenced-in, secure yard in which to play. She is very lovable, an extremely smart girl and well-trained.Abbie is up-to-date on all her shots. She is microchipped and spayed. She needs a special home with no other dogs. Abbie prefers to have her owners to herself and might become jealous with another dog.Abbie’s complete story can be found on the SAINT Web site at www.saintanimalrescue.org. This is a tearful separation for Abbie and her owner. She is a special girl and needs a special family for her forever home.If you think Abbie would fit into your loving home and would like to adopt her, please call SAINT Animal Rescue in Calhan at 719-541-3099.It is always a challenge when adopting a new pet. SAINT Animal Rescue asks the adopter to give the animal a reasonable amount of time to adjust to its new family and environment. This is so important to your new family member as well as your existing family members.Did you know?English schoolchildren believed seeing a white cat on the way to school was sure to bring trouble. To prevent the bad luck, they were to spit or turn around completely and make the sign of the cross.
Please meet Abbie
