Nothing like a good … library

There’s an old saying, “There’s nothing like a good book.” But if you ask the people of Falcon, they might say, “There’s nothing like a good library.” Last month, the Pikes Peak Library District broke ground in Falcon for its newest branch – the High Prairie Branch Library. According to the PPLD Web site, the nearly 6,000-square-feet library will cost about $1,613,200. Although the library is not scheduled to be finished until the early part of next year, the people of Falcon feel it is worth the wait.At least four people are looking forward to the new library and its availability of books and more. Maybe after it opens they will not only check out their favorite book, but find a new one, too.
