Morris Motors & RV recently opened at 7119 McLaughlin Road in Falcon. The business offers used autos — mostly trucks and SUVs — and RVs. They take consignments and will also purchase outright from customers.
Owner Karl Morris said he saw a need in the area to help people sell their RVs and autos. “A lot of people don’t have exposure to sell on their property. There might not be a lot of drive-by traffic and they have to advertise and have people come to their homes,” Morris said.
His goal is to help people make good decisions when purchasing autos and RVs. “I can help if they want to buy an RV and don’t know how to pick one,” he said. “They also have to think about having the right vehicle to pull their RV. Sometimes people get misled.”
Morris has worked in the RV and auto business for 20 years. He has been a store manager, general sales manager and finance director over that time span.
Three years ago, Morris and his family moved from California to the Banning Lewis Ranch. His wife, Samantha, recently took over the Farmer Insurance Agency on the same property. They have three boys, ages 15, 9 and 4. Morris said, “We love it here. People are extremely nice. Falcon is an amazing place. We have had remarkable support from everybody. It’s been phenomenal.”
Morris Motors and RV is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment. Call 719-466-8845 for an appointment outside of regular hours. Their hours might increase in the future.
