Boy Scout Troop 149 and Woodmen Hills will host the 13th annual pancake breakfast fundraiser July 4, from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m., at the Woodmen Hills Recreation Center East. All-you-can-eat pancakes (single serving scrambled eggs with bacon or sausage, with drinks) for ages 11 and older is $6; for ages 5-10 is $4; and no charge for kids 4 and under!Kids can join in the bike parade, which starts at 10 a.m. Start decorating the bikes at 9 a.m. Festivities are open to the public and include door prizes, a monkey bridge, music, a basket raffle. A flag retirement ceremony will take place at noon — anyone can bring a flag for a proper retirement.The center is located at 9025 Meridian Ranch Blvd.
