Monument Girl Scout Troop 437 has been busy this winter earning their Silver Award, the second highest award a Girl Scout can earn. The troop coordinated and hosted a series of adoption clinics with local businesses to help animals at Black Forest Animal Sanctuary. They have hosted other adoption events at PetsMart in Monument and Sam’s Club on Woodman Road.BFAS is in need of help. To adopt, foster or sponsor an animal, whether dog, cat or horse, please contact them. They are also in need of hay and dog treats.
