Spring is almost here and now we have the pleasure of “springing forward” with our clocks three weeks earlier than usual. This year’s change has seemed particularly grueling. Just when we were becoming accustomed to going to work and school in more light, we are back to the dark mornings. At least the weather is improving, right? In celebration of our fifth year, we are hosting an event for the hundreds of advertisers – past and present – that have supported us through the years. Look for a special invitation that will be in your mail soon, and mark April 24 on your calendar. On the front page of this issue, Alicia Littlejohn writes about The Exchange Club of Falcon honoring high school students who excel in school. Also in this issue, Dr. Francine Palmer is back writing her monthly column on chiropractic care. We’re happy to have her back as are undoubtedly her readers.Easter Sunday is next week and many churches in our community are providing special services. There are plenty of fun activities for families in Falcon as well. Don’t miss the annual Easter egg hunt at Woodmen Hills Community Center West. The event will be held Saturday morning, March 22. If the kids don’t collect enough eggs on Saturday, you can take them to the annual pancake breakfast held at the Falcon fire station on Easter morning. Pancakes, an egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny – what a day!– Happy Easter and happy spring!††Deb, Michelle and the NFH Team
