We hope you are enjoying the biweekly editions of The New Falcon Herald. We’ve all been adjusting to the new schedule, but we’re slowly getting a grip on it.Because the majority of our subscribers renew in January each year, many of you received renewal notices in your Jan. 6 newspaper. Please remember there are three ways you can renew your subscription: Send in your $18 payment to The New Falcon Herald at 7643 McLaughlin Road; No. 141; Falcon, Co. 80831; or, if you wish to pay by credit card, send an e-mail to marylou@newfalconherald.com with your phone number or call 719-683-7292 and leave your phone number. We’ll call you and get your credit card information over the phone. We do not use e-mail to send credit card information. Your information is called in or sent through certified mail to protect your privacy and our liability! We’ve added a new member to our team. Welcome to our new sales representative, Kris Stonestreet. Kris has lived in Falcon for seven years with her husband, Steve, and their 12-year-old son. She has previous experience with a newspaper in northern Colorado, and we are happy Kris has decided to share her expertise and time with the NFH. Kris is looking forward to meeting people and getting out in the community and helping out our long-time rep Don Joselyn. Also, Deb Stumpf has increased her responsibilities with The New Falcon Herald. She will be taking on more administrative responsibilities. Deb is the organizer extraordinaire. Please check out our columnists this month. Kathy Hare has written another thought-provoking piece on seniors and driving; Tom Preble talks about a bathtub and his relationship with his wife (just read it – it will get you geared up for Valentine’s Day) and David Corder keeps you committed to your health-related New Year’s resolution. And thanks to Frankie’s Bar & Grill for sponsoring Super Bowl Trivia! See how much you know! That’s it for now. We’ll see you Feb. 3. As always, thanks for reading the NFH.
