In December, a fire destroyed a home in Peyton and displaced a family of five (the Haiars) on their daughter’s 12th birthday. A neighbor, Michelle Vandever, set up a GoFundMe account. Insurance will take care of the house, but the family needs immediate help for items like clothing, personal care, etc.
As of Dec. 26, they have raised $21,740.
