NOTICEFALCON FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICTBOARD OF DIRECTORS VACANCYTO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN; particularly, to the electors of the Falcon Fire Protection District of El Paso County, ColoradoNotice is hereby given that there is currently a vacancy on the Board of Directors of the Falcon Fire Protection District.The members of the board of directors are seeking to appoint a new director to serve until the next regular election on May 8, 2012. The board of directors is currently accepting letters of interest and resumes from all qualified individuals within the Falcon Fire Protection District. To be qualified to serve on the board of directors you must be an eligible elector of the district. An eligible elector is defined as a person who is registered to vote pursuant to the “Uniform Election Code of 1992,” who has been a resident of the district for not less than 30 days, who, or whose spouse owns taxable real or personal property situated within the boundaries of the district, or a person who is obligated to pay taxes under a contract to purchase taxable property situated within the district. To be considered for the position, please submit a letter of interest with resume to the Falcon Fire Protection District located at 7030 Old Meridian Road, Falcon, Colo. 80831. Letters of interest must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Jan. 7, 2011.All applicants shall be available at the regular board meeting on Jan. 19 for an interview.
