The El Paso County Board of Commissioners has appointed 15 citizen volunteers to the Falcon/Peyton Small Area Master Plan Advisory Committee. A representative from the city of Colorado Springs and the El Paso County Planning Commission also will serve on the committee. The committee will assist the El Paso Development Services Department in preparing an update to the Falcon/Peyton Small Area Master Plan, which consists of land-use recommendations for a planning area of about 160 square miles in Falcon and Peyton. The plan will be presented to the planning commission in early 2008.The 15 citizen appointees: A representative from Falcon D 49 is expected to join the committee as well.
