Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center needs volunteers to assist riders with disabilities during their weekly horseback riding lessons. Training is provided and previous experience with horses is not required, although it’s helpful. The age limit is 14 years or older. Time commitment is two hours per week for the next nine-week session (March 13 – May 20). There will be no classes the week of March 27 due to spring break. The next volunteer orientation is Saturday, March 11, from 10 a.m. to noon.
