Dennis Hisey will serve as the 2007 chairman of the El Paso Board of County Commissioners. Hisey represents District 4, which covers the southern part of Colorado Springs, Security Widefield, Fountain, Fort Carson and the area south to the Pueblo County line.Commissioner Jim Bensberg, who has been a commissioner since 2003, was elected as vice chair. Bensberg represents District 5, which covers the majority of Colorado Springs.In the event that both the chair and vice chair are unable to attend a meeting, Sallie Clark will act as third chair. She represents District 3, which covers Manitou Springs, Green Mountain Falls, Colorado Springs and other unincorporated areas.
