U.S. Congressman Doug Lamborn presented the U.S. flag in a ceremony at Falcon High School on Feb. 22. All high school students gathered in the gym to view the presentation.After an introduction by junior ROTC cadet group commander Jacob Fisher, Congressman Lamborn briefly covered the history and practice of flying flags over the U.S. capitol. “The flag comes with a certificate of authenticity,” he said.The flag flown over the U.S. Capitol was not available at the time of the ceremony, but Congressman Lamborn presented a stand-in flag to Fisher and fellow ROTC members. “The flag will be displayed on the scoreboard,” Fisher said.
