Sterling Ranch subdivision

The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a request by Classic SRJ Land LLC to rezone 11.19 acres in the Sterling Ranch East Filing No. 6 from planned unit development to residential suburban-5000. The property is located north of Briargate Parkway/Stapleton Road Corridor and east of Vollmer Road.

The commissioners also unanimously approved the preliminary plan for Filing No. 6, consisting of 56.13 acres and depicting 198 single-family residential lots.

Winsome subdivision

The BOCC unanimously approved the final release of an irrevocable letter of credit for Winsome Filing No. 1 for $319,566.66. All improvements have been completed and inspected.

The commissioners also unanimously approved the final acceptance of certain streets within Filing No. 1 into the EPC road maintenance system.

Eastonville Road corridor project

The BOCC unanimously approved a resolution authorizing EPC to acquire property interests for the Eastonville Road corridor project that includes improvements to Eastonville Road, from McLaughlin Road to Rex Road. The property interests may include the following: fee simple title (complete and unrestricted ownership of a property, including the land and any buildings on it) to real property, buildings, structures or other improvements on the real property, tenant-owned improvements, personal property, easements and other real estate interests. Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2025 or early 2026.
