Winsome Metropolitan District

The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution to dissolve the Winsome Metropolitan District No. 4. The district was formed in 2020 and consists of a single 7-acre property located at the northwest corner of Hodgen Road and Meridian Road. It provides no services, owns no assets and has no outstanding debt.

Eastonville Road Corridor Project

The BOCC unanimously approved a purchase order to HDR Engineering Inc. for property acquisition services related to the Eastonville Road Corridor Project. The project, designated as an “A” list project of the Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority Extension, includes reconstruction/widening/upgrades to the roadway and intersections, improved pedestrian access, drainage and road safety.

Renehan Ranch 

The commissioners unanimously approved a request by C.R. Shea Homes Inc. to create three single-family residential lots on 34.36 acres, zoned residential rural-5. The lots will be 8.6 acres, 10 acres and 15.6 acres, and are located adjacent to the intersection of Burgess Road and South Holmes Road.

Knecht property

The BOCC unanimously approved a request by Jon Knecht to create five single-family residential lots on 21.04 acres, zoned RR-5. The property is located at 12425 North Meridian Road.

Falcon Fire Protection District easement

The commissioners unanimously approved a storm sewer drainage easement agreement with Falcon Fire Protection District, allowing the county to install storm water infrastructure for the future El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Falcon Substation.
