Adopt Me

Meow, meow, my name is Tibby, I’m a female, young adult, and a Charteaux-type kitty (a very quiet and intelligent French breed). You can see what lovely green eyes I have and my silky soft, silvery gray fur. I haven’t been at the Sanctuary for very long — so I’m a little shy and nervous right now and need a lot of love. I do SO love it when you rub my head and cheeks!†I’m spayed,†current on my vaccinations and microchipped.†My adoption fee is†$75.If you would like to meet me, please go to†http://wbars.org†and fill out an adoption application first.†If you would like to know more about me, please contact Wild Blue at 719-964-8905 or 719-213-1127.Sofia needs your helpThis is sweet little Sofia. She is 18 months old and was severely injured when recently hit by a car. She suffered a head injury, eye trauma, pulmonary (lung) bruising, numerous abrasions, a small laceration, a broken right hind leg (calf bone/ankle) and torn ligaments in her left ankle. She is now considered medically stable, and is slowly improving, even amazingly trying to walk a bit with her splints on. She is currently scheduled for surgery on both her hind legs through Colorado Canine Orthopedics. The intensive surgery she needs, subsequent recovery, medications and follow up veterinary care will total a little over $1,500 in costs to Wild Blue.To make a donation to help Sofia’s recovery, go to†https://loveanimals.org/sofia-was-hit-by-a-car.html?rm=e&ru=7876Here is a link to a video taken about a week ago of Sofia actually walking with her splints on.http://youtu.be/Um9FlcBwRAwWild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, based in Black Forest.
