This is sweet little Sofia. She is 18 months old and was severely injured when recently hit by a car. She suffered a head injury, eye trauma, pulmonary (lung) bruising, numerous abrasions, a small laceration, a broken right hind leg (calf bone/ankle) and torn ligaments in her left ankle.She is now considered medically stable, and is slowly improving, even amazingly trying to walk a bit with her splints on. She is currently scheduled for surgery on both her hind legs through Colorado Canine Orthopedics.
