National Mill Dog RescueMeet Ashley and Tootsie, 6-and-a-half-year-old Shih Tzu sisters. They have lived their entire lives in a cage making puppies only to have them taken away and sold in puppy stores. Ashley and Tootsie are a bit shy, very sweet and love to be around people. Curious and open to new adventures, these two gals would be a wonderful addition to about any home. Having always been together, it would be best for them to remain together. For additional information about Ashley and Tootsie, visit www.milldogrescue.org, complete the adoption/foster application, and don’t forget to mention the two girls in your inquiry/application submission.SAINTPlease meet Momma. She was abandoned while very pregnant. Momma was taken to a local shelter where she had her pups. Her allotted days were up, and she was placed on the kill list along with her puppies. A very kind-hearted person contacted one of SAINT’s members and told her of Momma and her situation. Our member immediately opened her heart and her front door, and Momma and her pups were saved.Momma is part Heeler. She is about 1-and-a-half years old. She has been spayed. Momma is a sweet dog and good with children and dogs. We are not sure if she enjoys the company of cats. Three of Momma’s pups are still up for adoption as well. Please go to our Web site and read their story. If you think Momma needs to be in your family and you would like to adopt her, please call SAINT Animal Rescue located in Calhan. Our phone number is 719-541-3099.It is a challenge adopting a new pet. SAINT Animal Rescue asks the adopter to give the animal a reasonable amount of time to adjust to its new family and environment. This is important to your new family member as well as your existing family members. Please visit our Web site at saintanimalrescue.org, and as always thank you for caring.”There is only one smartest dog in the world, and every boy has it.” – Anonymous
