SAINTPlease meet Irish. He is an older cat that needs a lap to rest on. Irish is about 8 years old and was tearfully given up for adoption by his one-time owner. Irish is neutered and has his claws. He has never used his claws on anything and truly has the sweetest disposition you would want. Irish loves attention and he’s now waiting for his new family so he can settle on a lap. If you are interested in adopting Irish into your heart and home, call SAINT Animal Rescue in Calhan. Our phone number is 719-541-3099.It is a challenge when adopting a new pet. SAINT Animal Rescue asks the adopter to give the animal a reasonable amount of time to adjust to its new family and environment. This is important to your new family member as well as your existing family members. Visit our Web site at www.saintanimalrescue.org, and as always thank you for caring.”Cats always know whether people like or dislike them. They do not always care enough to do anything about it.” – Winifred CarriereNational Mill Dog RescueMy name is Promise the pug, and I am 6 and-a-half years old. I am a very happy girl and love everyone, which is surprising considering what a sad life I have had. Until a few days ago, I lived every day in a dirty, cold cage in a Denver puppy mill. I was there for one reason and one reason only: I made the puppies that made the money for the breeder. When the mill closed I was driven all the way to Missouri to the auction. It was there that I was rescued. Taken out of that dirty cage, I was given fresh water, yummy food, hugs, kisses and a warm cozy ride back to Colorado where I now wait to meet my new forever family. I don’t always like other dogs, so I may need to be the only pup in your palace. If you would like to meet me and see how well I walk on a leash, visit www.milldogrescue.org, complete the adoption application and most importantly don’t forget to mention my name.
