The Exchange Club of Falcon continues its commitment to making a positive difference throughout El Paso County through programs supporting local youth, veterans, families and the community.
2026-2027 Scholarship Program
The Exchange Club of Falcon is pleased to announce its 2026-2027 Scholarship Program for graduating high school seniors throughout El Paso County. The scholarship is not limited to students attending District 49 schools.
Each year, the Exchange Club recognizes deserving graduating seniors for their academic achievement, community involvement, leadership, character and commitment to their future. Scholarships can help students pursue college, technical training or other post-secondary educational opportunities.
The Exchange Club also offers an A.C.E. (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) Scholarship, which recognizes young people who have overcome significant challenges and demonstrated a positive change in their attitude, performance and outlook for the future.
Students interested in applying should contact Don Koveleski for a scholarship application. Applications are due in April 2027.
Supporting veterans affected by the Aspen Acres fire
The Exchange Club recently presented a donation to the Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center to help support veterans affected by the Aspen Acres fire.
The donation reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to supporting those who have served our country. Mt. Carmel provides assistance and resources to veterans and their families, and the Exchange Club was proud to contribute to efforts helping veterans impacted by the wildfire.
“Our veterans have given so much to our country, and we are honored to be able to provide support when they need it,” said Don Koveleski of the Exchange Club of Falcon.
Learning more about human trafficking
Members of the Exchange Club recently attended a roundtable discussion on human trafficking in El Paso County. The discussion brought together community members and organizations to increase awareness of human trafficking, discuss challenges facing the community, and explore ways individuals and organizations can recognize and respond to this issue.
17th Annual Falcon Craft Fair
One of the Exchange Club of Falcon’s major annual fundraisers is the 17th Annual Falcon Craft Fair, which will be held Oct. 3-4 at Falcon High School. The event will feature a variety of vendors and crafts and offers an opportunity for the community to shop locally while supporting the Exchange Club’s programs.
Admission to the craft fair is free; however, the Exchange Club is asking shoppers to help give back to the community by bringing winter clothing, coats and/or nonperishable food items to the event. Donations will be distributed to the club’s partner agencies for families in need.
The craft fair is just one of the many ways the Exchange Club raises funds to support its programs and partner agencies throughout the year. The club’s efforts focus on its four primary areas of service: Americanism, community support, youth projects and child abuse prevention.
Through scholarships for graduating seniors, the A.C.E. program, assistance for veterans, community education, charitable donations and events such as the Falcon Craft Fair, the Exchange Club continues to work toward building a stronger and more caring community.
