Meridian Ranch subdivision

The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved the final acceptance of certain streets within the Rolling Hills Ranch Filing No. 3 at Meridian Ranch into the EPC road maintenance system.

Vollmer Road and Shoup Road intersection project

The BOCC unanimously approved a standard off-system utility reimbursement agreement with Tri-State Generation & Transmission Association Inc. related to the Vollmer Road and Shoup Road intersection project for reimbursement of utility relocation costs.

Mountain View Electric Association easement

The commissioners unanimously approved a request by Mountain View Electric Association to create an easement for electrical facilities located at the property owned by EPC at 12062 Royal County Down Road, in support of a new substation for the EPC Sheriff’s Office in Falcon.

Ford Drive rezone

The BOCC unanimously approved a request by Eric Leffler to rezone 6.1 acres from Residential Rural-5 to RR-2.5, located at 4515 Ford Drive, about one-half mile southwest of the Shoup Road and Milam Road intersection.

Falcon Highway variance of use

The commissioners unanimously approved a request by David and Cynthia Smallidge to amend the 11955 Falcon Highway variance of use for an event center for 41.92 acres, located about one-half mile east of the intersection of Highway 24 and Falcon Highway. The amendment allows an increase in the hours of operation from three days per week to seven days per week. The property is zoned RR-5.

Sterling Ranch subdivision

The BOCC unanimously approved the final release of bond funds for the Villages at Sterling Ranch for $398,146.08. There are no public improvements to hold for defect warranty and the released funds represent those improvements.

The commissioners also unanimously approved the application for preliminary acceptance of certain streets within Homestead North at Sterling Ranch Filing Nos. 2 and 3. All public improvements have been completed and inspected.

Bent Grass subdivision

The BOCC unanimously approved the final release of bond funds for Bent Grass Residential Filing No. 2 for $370,810. There are no public improvements to hold for defect warranty and the released funds represent those improvements.
