At the Sept. 10 meeting, members were instructed to bring whatever culinary treat they wished — entrée, side dish or dessert of their choice. An interesting array of delicious culinary treats resulted.
All members in their 80s or 90s were asked to raise their hand. Cheers and applause greeted those who responded. It was then announced that a special dessert cake had been prepared for them, and then they led the membership to the buffet meal that had been prepared.
The chapter president, Ray Rozak, reminded all of the upcoming Senior Resource Council free holiday dinner dance for seniors. A good chapter turn out is expected.
