Latigo Trails subdivision
The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a final plat request by Drexel, Barrell and Co. to create 39 single-family residential lots in the Latigo Trails Filing No. 9 subdivision. The 106-acre property is zoned residential rural-2.5 and located .75 miles west of Eastonville Road, 1 mile east of Meridian Road, and 1 mile south of Latigo Boulevard.
Pine View Estates subdivision
The county commissioners unanimously approved the preliminary release of credit funds for the Pine View Estates Filing No. 1 for $40,747. All improvements have been completed and inspected.
Liberty Tree Academy
The BOCC unanimously approved the preliminary release of permit compliance bond funds for Liberty Tree Academy Phase 2 for $330,377.38. All improvements have been completed and inspected.
Windingwalk at Meridian Ranch subdivision
The commissioners unanimously approved the final acceptance of streets within the Windingwalk Filing No. 2 at Meridian Ranch subdivision into the EPC road maintenance system.
High Plains subdivision
The BOCC unanimously approved the final acceptance of certain streets within the High Plains Filing No. 1 subdivision into the EPC road maintenance system.
Sterling Ranch
The commissioners unanimously approved two urban park lands agreements with Sterling Ranch Metropolitan District No. 3 for Homestead North at Sterling Ranch Filing Nos. 2 and 3 for $21,460 and $22,330, respectively. The metro district has indicated their intention to construct urban park amenities within both filings and has requested the waiver of all urban park fees. The property owner estimates the overall cost of the park and trail projects to be about $702,895 for Filing No. 2 and $646,414 for Filing No. 3.
The BOCC also unanimously approved a request by Classic SRJ Land LLC for the combined planned unit development and preliminary plan to create 158 single-family residential lots in one phase on 36 acres in Sterling Ranch subdivision. The property, zoned residential rural-5, is located east of Vollmer Road and north of the future Briargate Parkway/Stapleton Road extension.
Arroya Lane subdivision
The commissioners unanimously approved a request by the EPC Community Service Parks Operations Division for a subdivision exemption to 4 acres of land located on the northeast side of the intersection of Vollmer Road and Arroya Lane, zoned RR-5. The exemption, given by the Black Forest Trail Association to EPC, would allow the county to construct a trail corridor for the proposed Sand Creek Primary Regional Trail.
