The Auxiliary of the CVMA (Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association) fosters a caring environment for the CVMA members. The focus of the nonprofit CVMA Auxiliary is to support CVMA-related causes on national and state levels. Throughout the year, the group sponsors fundraisers.The CVMA Auxiliary in Colorado put on a statewide cookbook fundraiser in the spring, and all profits were donated to the CVMA Scholarship Fund.In September, the Auxiliary participated in the Homeless Stand Down, hosted by the Homeless Coalition of Colorado Springs, and distributed handmade blankets made by Auxiliary chapters and individuals.For Veterans Day, the group just completed putting together 200 goodie bags for the veterans at the VA Hospital in Aurora. They will hand out the bags to the patients on Dec. 10. The bags contain goods like snacks, toothbrushes, lens wipes, sanitizers, tea, cocoa, chapsticks, lotion, shaving cream and a slew of other items.The Auxiliary of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association would like to thank and recognize the following businesses for their support and contributions.
