The Shops at Meridian RanchThe El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved the release of funds, including accrued interest, for subdivision improvements for The Shops at Meridian Ranch for $21,971. All improvements have been completed as well as inspections.McLaughlin Road/Old Meridian Road Improvement ProjectThe BOCC unanimously approved a resolution to amend a memorandum of agreement regarding a temporary construction easement for the McLaughlin Road/Old Meridian Road Improvement Project. The original MOA accepted a temporary construction easement from LaRon and Renee Bartlett for $820; and, based on the condition, EPC would replace, repair and restore the surface area of the temporary easement. The amendment shifts the responsibility for the replacement, repair and restoration of the easement to LaRon and Renee Bartlett in exchange for $70,815, paid with Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority funds.Rolling Hills RanchThe commissioners unanimously approved three land agreements for parks with GTL Inc. for Rolling Hills Ranch Filing No. 1, 2 and 3. GTL has indicated their intention to construct urban park amenities within and/or immediately adjacent to each filing. The agreements are for $78,336, $71,980 and $60,610, respectively.Estates at Rolling Hills RanchThe BOCC unanimously approved two land agreements for parks with GTL Inc. for the Estates Rolling Hills Ranch Filing No. 1 and 2. GTL has indicated their intention to construct urban park amenities within and/or immediately adjacent to each filing. The agreements are for $4,608 and $28,910, respectively.Town of CalhanThe commissioners unanimously approved inclusion of the town of Calhan into the Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority.Falcon Meadows at Bent GrassThe BOCC unanimously approved a request by Better Land LLC and Challenger Communities LLC to rezone seven parcels on 67.01 acres from one planned unit development to a different PUD. The new PUD creates 267 single-family detached residential lots, rights-of-way, drainage, open space and utility tracts. The property is located about 0.7 miles east of the intersection of Meridian Road and Bent Grass Meadows Drive and is included within the boundaries of the Falcon/Peyton Small Area Master Plan.
