That darn auto correctA woman had just finished interviewing with a company for a nonprofit job that she really wanted. She decided to be proactive and email the executive director a few hours after the interview. She emailed her from her iPhone, writing, ìI can hardly contain my excitement about the possibility of working with your organization.î However, auto-correct changed ìexcitementî to ìexcrement.î Horrified, she called the CEO to apologize. Luckily, the director had a good sense of humor and got a good laugh out of it. She didnít get the job, but the director said she would ìnever forget her.îAccidental flashingTwo cousins from Colorado had taken a trip to Disney Land. Prior to the trip, they had painted a couple of T-shirts with the Colorado flag imprinted inside a Mickey Mouse head shape. While they were there, it rained so they bought sweatshirts and took off their soaked T-shirts. After the rain subsided, they stood in line at Space Mountain. While in line they saw a man wearing a Colorado T-shirt. You know, it can be exciting to think a fellow Coloradan is close by when you are far away from home. In her excitement, one of the cousins yelled at the man, who was with his wife and kids, and said, ìHey, weíre from Colorado, too,î as she lifted up her sweatshirt to show off her Colorado T-shirt. Unfortunately, she forgot she had taken off her wet T-shirt and wet bra! They never did ride Space Mountain!
