Start collecting your outdated financial documents and bring them to the FREE Fight Fraud – Shred Instead event and food drive on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Black Forest Lutheran Church parking lot at 12455 Black Forest Road in Black Forest. This identity theft prevention community service event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon. All documents will be professionally shredded on site. All paper will be recycled. Please limit what you bring to the equivalent of three copy paper size boxes per person. No plastic bags or three-ring binders will be accepted, as they cannot be shredded. Each donation of cash or non-perishable food will go to Black Forest Cares in support of their ongoing effort to combat hunger in the local community. For more information, call Ray Rozak at 719-495-6767.
