The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments is distributing the “2010-2011 Senior Information and Assistance Directory” (“Yellow Book”). Now in its 43rd year of publication, the “Yellow Book” provides information on more than 700 services for older adults in El Paso, Park and Teller counties. PPACG will mail books to individuals who are homebound or living outside the state of Colorado. Copies may be picked up at the PPACG Area Agency on Aging office at 14 S. Chestnut Street in Colorado Springs or at Pikes Peak Public Library branches and area senior centers.For more information about distribution locations, contact the Senior Information and Assistance Hotline at 719-471-2096.PPACG serves as the state-designated area agency on aging for El Paso, Park and Teller counties. The agency administers programs and services funded through the federal Older Americans Act and the state of Colorado to assist older adults in living independently in their own homes.
