Successful classic and custom car show

The Aug. 23 Falcon Senior Services Classic and Custom Car Show showcased 71 vehicles, ranging from a 1924 Model T Ford Touring Car to a 2008 Dodge Challenger. Many spectators enjoyed the beautiful display of cars. The 1924 Model T Ford Touring Car, owned by Steve Wagner, won Best of Show.The FSS board would like to thank the car owners for their participation and wish to also thank these sponsors and prize donors: Alliance Family Dentistry, Alpine Vision, Brian Anderson, Phyllis Anderson, Falcon Auto Service Center, Johnson Pipe and Supply, KSA Financial and Tax Service, Meineke Car Care Center of Falcon and The State Bank.We are also grateful to Clark Absher, CJ Whitney and Phyllis Anderson for organizing the event. Dolores Kirby provided music entertainment with keyboard renditions of old songs. Patriot Learning Center middle school students provided an invaluable service by directing traffic and keeping the area clean. We appreciate all the help and guidance given to us by Debbie Sloup of PLC.
