Here we are less than four weeks away from Christmas. Yikes! For those of us who refused to hit the early bird day-after-Thanksgiving sales, it’s time to make some serious efforts to check out items on that Christmas shopping list. Steady growth in Falcon has provided many opportunities to shop locally. No need to face crowded malls this year – nearly everything on your list can be found right here in Falcon! The Falcon merchants are decked out, well stocked and ready to help with your shopping needs. If books are on your gift-giving list, be sure to check out Kathy Hare’s “Books for everyone” feature article. Although we don’t have a bookstore in Falcon yet, Kathy has provided a great shopping list to help us quickly get in and out of the bookstore or to help us with our online book shopping. You may have noticed that our “Rumors” column has been a little weak lately. If you have any juicy rumors, give us a call on our tip line at 683-7292. If we can’t substantiate your tip, we’ll call it a rumor until we can.Have a great couple of weeks and we’ll see you again Dec. 15!-Deb, Michelle and the NFH team
