The Exchange Club of Falconís September Youth of the Month was Karlin Rufenacht from Peyton High School. Ranking first in her class, Karlin has a 4.14 GPA and is a National Honor Society member, as well as a 2014 Colorado Girls State Delegate. Her leadership positions include 2013-14 Student Council secretary, 2013-14 class president and Golden Prairie 4-H vice president and president.In addition to volleyball and track and field during high school, Karlin has also been a member of the Olympic Track and Field Landsharks Running Club and the El Paso County 4-H Horse Advisory Committee. She was an active volunteer for the Peyton High School Veteranís Breakfast for 2012 and 2013, as well as the Peyton Elementary Fall Carnival. She would like to study international relations or international business with the goal to become a foreign service officer. She has applied to the University of Wyoming, Baylor University and the University of Denver.
