Woodmen Hills holiday food driveWoodmen Hills is once again holding a food drive to help those in need in the community. Anyone who wishes to donate may drop off non-perishable food items at Community Center West or Recreation Center East between now and Dec. 15. If anyone would like to help with the food basket distribution, meet at the Community Center West at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16. Your help will be greatly appreciated! Enjoy cookies and hot chocolate, and get your picture taken with Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. There is no charge for this event, but everyone attending is encouraged to bring a new and unwrapped toy for the families in need in the Falcon area. This year, FORTRESS REAL ESTATE GROUP is teaming up with Woodmen Hills to co-sponsor the event; FORTRESS will match the number of toys collected for this toy drive!!!Toys can be dropped off at the Community Center West, Recreation Center East or Meridian Ranch Recreation Center any time between now and Dec. 12. Prices are reasonable, i.e. 5×7-$5, 5×7 & 4 wallets-$12, 12 holiday cards-$25. Santa’s elves will offer free holiday tattoos and a variety of activities like coloring and creating holiday crafts for just $2 per craft. Enjoy coffee, cocoa and cider.
