Join us to discover how ore is processed to extract gold. Hands-on learners of all ages will crush and classify ore as they learn the basics of gold ore assaying and determining the value of gold in the rock. This fast moving, interactive assay demonstration will overview the math, mechanics and chemistry of this process. In addition, this event has become a detailed educational program with the support of experts from the museum and Pilot Mining.
