Kevin and Amanda DeLuna were married July 28 in Palmer Park.Amanda Kay Wilkins, daughter of Ken and Brenda Wilkins, and Kevin Michael DeLuna, son of Noel and Tracy DeLuna, were married June 28 during a small family wedding in Palmer Park, where Kevin proposed to Amanda.The bride wore a soft, flowing pearl white wedding gown, embellished with swirling ribbon and rhinestones along a V-neckline and an elegant pearl and rhinestone tiara. She carried a bouquet of all white tulips, freesia, alstroemeria and Queen Anne’s lace tied at the stem. The groom wore a black tuxedo and silver gray vest, with a white tulip and freesia boutonniere.Renee Wilkins of Edmond, Okla., and sister of the bride was the maid of honor. She also sang a beautiful rendition of “Valentine” during the ceremony.Justin DeLuna of Colorado Springs and brother of the groom served as best man. Rev. Jake Ishmael of Denver was the officiating minister.A dinner reception was held at Guiseppe’s Old Depot Restaurant in Colorado Springs.Following a honeymoon, Amanda and Kevin will reside in Tulsa, Okla., where Kevin is completing his education in quality control and non-destructive testing at the Spartan School of Aeronautics.
